*Stop in Wytheville, Va. for dinner- Bob Evans restaurant Apx. Time- 7:15
*Continue on to Abingdon, Va. Super 8 Motel
*$57.04 per room (2 queen non-smoking) This price does includes tax.
*Each family must secure their own reservation by calling the Super 8 directly. The number is (276)676-3329. Ask for the block of rooms reserved for High Point First Wesleyan. You must also send an email to abrand@wesed.org so we have a count on who is going.
Saturday, October 24
*Check out of hotel
*9:00 Breakfast at Shoney’s, Abingdon, VA.
*10:00 Arrive at Subway in Damascus ,Va for those who want to order subs as part of their picnic lunch.
*10:30 Arrive at Sundog Outfitters bike shuttle for our reserved time. (Next door to Subway)
*Adult shuttle only- $10.99
*Child shuttle only - $8.99
*Adult shuttle plus bike rental- $24.24
*Child shuttle plus bike rental- $21.50
*We will stop about halfway down for a picnic lunch- each family is responsible for their own drinks and lunch.
*Families who do not wish to spend the night on Friday may meet us at Sundog Outfitters at 10:30 on Saturday morning. It is about a 3 hour ride from High Point. However, it is necessary for you to let us know if you are planning to use the shuttle so we can make sure we have the necessary reservations.
*There are only a limited number of spaces, so please reserve your space early. If you are planning to go please let us know ASAP. Everyone must be registered with us by Wednesday, October 14 in order to secure your spot.
