COSTUME BLOCK PARTY – LAST MINUTE NEEDS
If you would still like to be a part of the Block Party, it’s not too late! We can still use Baked Goods for the Cake Walk. All you need to do is bring them to the Children’s Area in Room 107 on Sunday Morning. We ask that you bring them pre-packaged this year. Bring them in a Ziploc bag or on a plate with Saran Wrap…enough for a family of four (ie. 4 cupcakes, a plate of cookies, etc.)
Please keep praying that we will bless our community! There are also a lot of details that will go into planning this event, so prayers are encouraged and appreciated!
ALSO, as a point of interest for those attending the Block Party, our very own Bert Reed will be our roving photographer at the event and will be taking photos that will be available for free viewing and download as well as for purchase. Keep an eye out for Bert taking photos at the Block Party!
COME ON OUT, ALL AGES! THIS SUNDAY, OCTOBER 31 – 5:30-7pm!
Contact Sheri Jennings in the church office (884-1111) if you have any questions about this year’s Costume Block Party! Or email, fwcnursery@aol.com!

INTERNATIONAL EVANGELIST BILL FAY – NOVEMBER 14
On Sunday, November 14, International Evangelist Bill Fay will be speaking during the Sunday morning worship here at FWC.
He will also be presenting a seminar at 5pm that afternoon. The topic will be Sharing Your Faith Without Fear. This is a presentation of simple ways to share Christ. You don’t want to miss it!
We are in need of several volunteers to help with selling his merchandise during the evening seminar. If you will be attending the seminar and would be willing to help out, please contact Karen Parrish in the church office. You can call 888-4528 or simply respond to this email.
-------------------------------
TECH TEAM VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Our Tech Team is in need of some new volunteers to help make our Sunday morning services run smoothly! These folks are the ones who work behind the scenes to be sure everything happens as it should.
So, if you’ve ever wanted to help out with sound, lights, cameras and other technical stuff, now is your chance! Contact David Jennings to find out more, soundfwc@hotmail.com or 471-9128.
No experience is required. Training will be provided!

THANK YOU FROM TINA TAUBIN
I would like to express a sincere “THANK YOU” to everyone for praying and encouraging me and my family with your love, cards, and meals through my surgery and recovery. They meant more to me/us than can be expressed in words. May God bless you for the way you were used to bless us this past month. Thank you! ~ Tina Taubin

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD – MISSIONS DAY TRIP
Do you have a heart for Missions? Here is a local opportunity to touch hearts and change lives of children around the world.
We will be taking a team of volunteers down to the Operation Christmas Child Processing Center in Charlotte on Saturday, December 4th from 2-9pm. This event is open to the entire church family but volunteers must be at least 13 years old. Here is a good opportunity for families that would like to work together. We will help to prepare shoe boxes for shipment overseas. There will be a lot of standing. Transportation will be provided.
Once you experience this awe-inspiring process, you’ll want to go back year after year!
Please call Donna at 888-4523 for reservations. Deadline to sign up is November 11th.

SENIOR ADULT MOVIE
One Night with the King starring Peter O’Toole & Omar Sharif. November 3rd at 3pm in room 106. This is a FREE event for Seniors. Snacks will be provided. The deadline to order your tree is Sunday, November 14th and trees will be delivered on Saturday, December 4th from 8:30am-12:30pm.
Check out the order form in the bulletin beginning THIS Sunday and drop it off in the Main Foyer after church or at the church office throughout the week.

CHURCH REMINDERS
REQUESTS FOR ANOINTING AND SUNDAY MORNING PRAYER TIME
ANOINTING: If you would like to be anointed for a special need, please call the church office and let us know. We will be honored to pray for you at the altar in the minutes leading up the countdown prayer time. Time limits how many we can anoint on a Sunday, but we will do our best to schedule this special prayer.
PRAYER TIME: This is a reminder of our Prayer Initiative we are beginning on Sunday mornings. Continuing this Sunday, we are encouraging you to come pray at the platform during the five minute countdown before the worship service.
You can pray for the service, upcoming events or other needs. This is a wonderful opportunity to come forward and prepare your heart for the morning service.
